The Big Lake area offers a wide variety of events and activities including ice fishing tournaments, a Business Expo, holiday events and our annual Spud Fest. Year round, there is something for everyone to enjoy!

 4    Fall Bird Tour- Sherburne Wildlife Refuge- 8:00 a.m.

6    Labor Day- City and Chamber office closed!

11  5th Annual Big Lake Dog Vaccination Clinic- Lion's Park
       9:00 a.m.- Noon

11   BIG LAKE BLOCK PARTY- McPete's
       11-5 Family Day
       6:30-1:00 a.m. (16+) Bands: Dirtee Circus, Whiskey Tango

11   Saron Lutheran Church's Fall Festival. Family fun, food,
       and prizes for all ages. 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

11   Fall Wildflower Tour- Sherburne Wildlife Refuge-
       10:00 a.m.

18   Movies in the Park- Dusk at the school grounds

25   National Public Lands Day- Sherburne Wildlife Refuge- 
       9:00 a.m.
